VP has some great songs but taken as a whole the album for me was too long and full tracks that aren't really songs.

I'm going with Prince. 3121, MPLSound, LotusFlower and 20Ten are much better albums.

VP may have come close if he had pared it down to 10 tracks.

each to his own. I think 20ten is one of the least interesting things Prince has done since the whole Lotus Flower mishmash. 3121 scored just slightly above for production quality.

VP is in desperate need of editing, no doubt about that. Nonetheless I think that the best of it tops everything Prince has done in recent years.

IMO since 2000, 3121 is by far the best Prince cd. I dug the Musicology cd too but everything

else was just meh. I would still take Jesse's VP over those however i agree with some, some

of the stuff on the 2nd cd i could have done without but Next to You and Ali vs Frazier were

brilliance.
