What's funny is the word itself. I feel it's not a word with -est on it, so when people say it, they become the word, in a way. At least for that second. They aren't stupid all in all, but at that moment, it's kind of funny.

I believe more Nikki Sixx than her...why? I have his book (perfect thing!) and she can done commentions his memoirs...and she never say about ring or other things. She never say anything important, just stupid thing about "bad life" and God. Nikki said she was crazy and a lot of interesting stuffs about her (how Prince ended with her, a lie about flowers from Prince, how Nikki met Vanity, what she done on Motley Crue concert etc.) ...maybe it will be better (truer) than informations from her book.

I like her! She is my favourite proteges but I think she's a selfseeking person. She said anything for better image about her.

I don't think Denise would lie about anything. However, there are a couple of things you have to factor in. 1) she was high out of her mind. 2) she's trying too hard to create this evil vs. good scenario in her book. Vanity vs. Denise. (Gheez, sound familiar? Is she a Gemini too?? Nah, she's a Capricorn - WTFever that means, it's boogersnot stuff).

Aaaanyway, Nikki has always been balls to the wall in his life, whether it's been with drugs, with women, with music - whatever. It's how Motley Crue operated. You can't hide anything when you've lived that way. It'd be hypocritical, especially for Crue members. Nikki has no reason to tell anything any other way than how it happened.

Denise, as a woman, might still want to protect a bit of her "slut factor" and not tell just how much she slept around, or the like. Does that make sense in a broader sense? From the excerpts I have read, she's trying very hard to over-stylize the whole thing and make it seem even worse than it was (and we know it was REALLY bad, to the point of almost dying). But sometimes the truth is what it is, and that's what's best shared. Folks are going to draw their own conclusions anyway, so why not just lay it out? If a person wants to tell their story, TELL IT, but don't come with some overtly-verbose coffee table book and talk about "the bad side of life" or whatever. It'll start to sound like Spooky Electric vs. Camille stuff in the Lovesexy era. Silly, ultimately. Nikki was no holes "I shot up and died and was thrown in a dumpster" kind of stuff. He doesn't care if people happen to say "He's got a 4" penis" He's like "So what, I'm in Motley fucking Crue, and lived to talk about it. Suck THAT." Denise is more "I was controlled by the devil, and didn't know who I was, so I altered my mood."

It's not that I disbelieve her story, but she could have went about it in a very different, and more raw way. She's raw about Jesus, why not about her whole life. She might not even know Jesus had she not been through what she went through. Even Prince told Oprah he didn't regret the things he sang about because he wouldn't be where he is now (then) or know what he knows without it. It's all part of the chain link of his life. Same w/ Denise.

Why not? Drugs effect folks differently, and if he was holed up in a room w/ a notebook or legal pad writing shit down, so be it.

His diary were papers ...in very bad time when he wanted (needed) wrote his thoughts etc. He is like poet or writer

He did a new book! It will be about his life from childhood till today. Diary was just about one year in his life. New book will be publication very soon.

Can you trust the diary entries of a man who would hide in his closet and shoot up? In his book, he also gets some information wrong about Denise (he says her last name is Williams, and that she was a backup dancer/singer for Prince). Other commentators in his book also say throughout the story that (at the time) he would lie a lot about stuff.

Denise said in this interview that Nikki proposed to her on a boat with a lot of people present. In the Motley Crue book (which came out before Nikki's solo book), Tommy Lee even mentions a story of when Nikki flushes Denise's engagement ring down the toilet after they had a fight. It seems like Nikki is the only one who doesn't admit he and Denise were engaged. I think it's possible Denise could have lied about being engaged while she was Vanity, but if she still says they were engaged now that she's a changed woman, I'm going to believe her, since "it's a sin to lie"

and LaAmi I thought they both started doing drugs about the same time in the early 80s lol. So your point that she was higher than him has to be thrown out lol. They were both a mess but he often got so high that he would miss band practice and recordings.

I guess Denise wanted the interview to be geared more towards her religion but most of us have been hearing about that for years. Myself, along with many others, would have preferred to hear more about her music and acting careers, post-Prince. Questions geared towards what her thoughts and feelings were regarding the music and movie businesses. What was it like being signed to a label like Motown? What were some of the obstacles she faced in the business? What was it like being a female in the business back then? Did she face any special challenges being bi-racial in the business? What she learned from being in the business? I guess I was hoping for some further insight into those issues. I'm still trying to figure out whether or not she goes into more detail in her book before I spend the $$$ to purchase it.
