Star Tribune Summer Concerts: Best Places to Spot Prince

BEST CHANCES TO SPOT PRINCE

George Clinton & P-Funk (June 7, First Avenue, $25). The godfather of funk has done his time at Paisley Park.

Larry Graham/Mint Condition (June 18, Minnesota Zoo, $42). The world's baddest bassist is practically Prince's godfather.

Rock the Garden (June 18, Walker Art Center, sold out). Prince might be Jones-ing for the Dap-Kings' James Brown-styled funk.

Santana (June 30, Xcel Energy Center). They used to be pals, but are they still on the same spiritual wavelength?

here's the link: http://www.startribune.co...=5&c=y

the original story in the paper also included janelle monae at the taste of mn but she has since pulled out of performing.

And now he won't go to any of them. lol

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

lol Thanks I needed that! I love your humor.

I'm sittin here reading through the responses and came to yours and almost choked.

So true tho. You know Prince will do the complete opposite .

Prince did an interview with a woman at Record World. They talked about whatever, then he asked her: "Does your pubic hair go up to your navel?" At that moment, we thought maybe we shouldn't encourage him to do interviews.

Maybe they should write an article about the places he's actually go to perform at this summer. Wow that would be so innovative!

When eye go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all heart up in the house but when eye log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!
