After finding a lot of recent Youtube material with this band live i HAVE to agree. I forgot JUST how good they were. Lovesexy band a close second.

beatdeadhorse The NPG from the mid 90's is the best and tightest band. They trumped the Lovesexy band a tiny bit, IMHO. Sonny T Michael B Tommy Barbarella Morris Hayes Done.

I don't think the SOTT/Lovesexy band had the amount of time to really represent.

Visually they are the in the top 3 of the best, and most of them being proteges and former Revolution members, they had purple all over them.

Actually, I'd be happy with this power trio from here on out! [img:$uid]http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h227/judechristian/Now-1.jpg[/img:$uid]

That would be a hot combination, and add Jill Jones for extra back up vocals

If he has guitar, it should be Dez.
shocked confuse disbelief I'm sorry, but what does Dez do again? I'd pick Miko, Mike Scott, hell even Levi, over Dez as top Prince guitarists. But none of those guys can come close to the tightness that he and Wendy had on guitars together! It's pretty evident in everything they've ever done musically. I think, I think... Dez just wants to be a modernaire, and that's it!

U must not be familar with Dez, he is the one that amped up the shows, he pushed Prince's guitar wildness.

Dez is 100% rock, that's a part of the reason those early shows were so wild, that band connection
