The Fonky Balheadz/Millenium

I remembered these two groups opening for Prince back in April of 2000 at the Civic Center in Atlanta.

i know the Baldheadz had "Sex in my Bones" and Millenium was part of the track "U Make my Sun Shine" (w/Angie Stone) but never heard from them after.

Whatever became of them?

Milenia was on backing vocals only.

The Fonky Baldheads were horrid.

You are right about the FB. I remember at the concert they were losing the crowd and Prince had to come out in the middle of their set to sing a verse, strum his guitar and walk right back off stage. Needless to say, it was the last I ever saw them.

The Fonky Baldhead album isn't half bad. If they didn't think they could get over with that lame white boy rapper they could have been like a good funk/rock outfit like FreakJuice or Fishbone. As mentioned earlier, I remember Prince coming out for 20 seconds during their opening set to give them some juice. He did co-write a track called Rowdy Mac for them and it will peel your cap back.
