I have the say, I love this thread. I came back just so I could send a friend a link to AJ's video. The fact that it's gone has me disappointed. You see, my friend and I have a running joke where we send each other videos like his with messages like "I like your background vocals/production/songwriting etc". I was just about to send AJ's and poof...it's gone.
Mysterious is hilarious, and the ego on display in his messages here and in his AJ videos is awe inspiring. My friend and I have talked about this kind of person, who pops up every now and then in every city, a person who is convinced they are great and oblivious that they are not. I think there is a purpose to people like this though...they scare the shit out of the talented ones, who are left with that frightening thought: Am I one of them? On that note, if anyone finds AJ's video online, please send me a note. Trust me, it's not because I think he's the world's greatest entertainer...I just have a sick sense of humor. | |
