You can notice she's pausing before... I guess it's easier to introduce herself on a TV show as Bria Valente (CD cover) than say "Brenda" and explain why she has changed it.. She could have just said "so I told him" and not put in the Bria part. I wouldn't expect her to explain the "I use to be Brenda" part. I met Bria; she was gracious and very beautiful. She, her friend, and I shared a laugh--did she dance to purple rain?

Met and spoke with Bria and her sisters at Paisley after the concert last month.
