Producer, Songwriter, Guitar Legend and Original Founding Member of The Time Jesse Johnson is the October 2009 featured artist on Emancipation Radio!

His release on Sony Red "Verbal Penetration Vol I & II" will be ready for digital download AND at your local retailers on Tuesday, October 27, 2009. He is welcomed back from his 15 year hiatus from his solo work.

I'm going to be in the US (specifically Oregon) from the 23rd, for a couple of weeks. Will I be able to buy Jesse's new album in say, Best Buy, or other big music chains? I really hope so! One of my favorite artists of all time, I'm really looking forward to the new album!

It's SO EASY 2 burn vinyl 2 a CD these days. If U know someone w/a good vinyl copy, have 'em burn it 4 u!!!!!

I'd be surprised if Best Buy orders any copies of Jesse's album because he's so under the radar now. As for other music chains, there aren't many left here in NY. I'll probably just order my copy from Amazon.

That's what I was thinking - but it is a major label release.

I wanted to avoid getting it online if possible, but if that's the only way, then so be it.

It's on Best Buy's website, so there's hope! It also says it's a digipack, which I wasn't aware of till now, but that's cool!

True, he's a fringe artist at this point, but his "Ultimate Collection" CD was available at Best Buy.

I used to collect all the music from the spin-off/related bands...and I think Jesse was probably my favorite of those. I was just listening to some of his guitar playing this week, and was marveling at how great it still is.

I'll definitely pick up the new disc. I hope he gives me some tasty solos to munch on!!
