WHAT time is IT!??!

In a lot of ways that album is one of the greatest things Prince was ever involved with. There are more questions than answers about who's playing what or who wrote what, but I'm about to break out my copy since you brought it up. | |

777 - 9311 is awsome! Is it true that Prince plays every note on this? Only vocals were replaced? Dez is playing guitar I think.... Well, Morris told me that he played drums on The Walk and Wild and Loose. Dez didn't play anything on this but he's doing backing vocals on the songs 777-9311 & Wild and Loose. Besides Morris on the drums for those 2 songs, P played everything else, including the guitar solo to 777-9311. One thing I suggest u do while listening to this album....Go to the last track on the album...OnedayI'mgonnabesomebody Go to the very end of the song where u hear "We Don't Like New Wave" and all of the laughter. As soon as the last laugh is heard, if u can, reverse the section with the laughter and the "We Don't Like New Wave" phrase. Then while listening to it backwards, then check THAT part out.
