Wendy & Lisa Thank You Card Last week I got a letter in the mail from Girl Bros. in Los Angeles. Much to my surprise, I found hand-written thank you card from Wendy & Lisa inside. I bought White Flags of Winter Chimneys through their website last December (download & CD) and thought this was a wonderful way to say "thank you" from two very talented and very classy ladies.

There is definitely a shift happening in the industry that's bringing artists closer to their fans, and this is a great thing. Suddenly as conglomerate labels fall and crumble to pieces on the ground a lot of artists are not only taking production and marketing into their own hands, but it's so cool to see them branch out into interactive pr like this; it feels retro and groovy, in a good way
