Funny you should ask..that play is currently at the Beacon Theatre in New York City, this week until Sunday, 4/12, and returns on 4/27 - 4/29 at the Beacon Theatre again.

This play has already been to Atlanta n i'm sure the play is very good. Tyler Perry is incredible n Tamar can really act. Maybe Tyler will let her play a role in his upcoming movie. | |

You don't have to wait for it to come to your state. You can buy the dvd and watch it at home. I thought Tamar did a great job she does look great and you can really see her talent. You can't be talentless and lead a whole play like some on here want to think. Great job Tamar. | |

I think it's great that she is touring with this play. Gives her a lot of exposure. I didn't know there was a DVD out about the movie though. [Edited 4/9/09 17:23pm] Education, the greatest weapon

[Edited 4/9/09 17:23pm] I didn't know the dvd was out either. I watched some of the clips on youtube and from what I've seen, acting seems to be natural 4 Tamar. Have anyone seen Madea Goes To Jail? I've also heard that Mary J. Blige is starring in Tyler's next film I Can Do Bad All By Myself coming out in Sept. 2009. [Edited 4/9/09 18:46pm] | |

The daddy was off the chain. I enjoyed the DVD, I think people would be surprised by the quality of performances from everyone on the play. Bravo to Tamar, I hope she sticks to acting roles. I think she'll make it back around to singing full time is she displays her other talents like she did in this role. "Would You Like to Dance With Me We're Doin The Cosmic Slop?" | |

Tamar has talent, I think she would make an excellent actress and hope the parts continue to come along. All the great actors started out on stage.
