Sheila E. - Glorious Train - yay or nay?

I am on the Sheila E. email list, and I got an email from them asking me to vote for Sheila E.'s new video "Glorious Train" - to be played on CMT. For those who didn't know or didn't follow, Sheila E. actually won Gone Country 3.

Thought I'd pass it on here, and see what ya'll think - the video itself is a little gimmicky, but I like the message, and the meld of country and groove is pretty good for being her first country single. I think she cold go far in the genre, too.

Sorry to say, but nay. Although she does look fabulous in the video (parts of the video kind of remind me of the video for "Droppin' Like Flies," another video I thought she looked great in).

There are a few cool cuts on one of the last albums, titled "Heaven", which she and the E-Train released around 2001 on Concord Records.
The jazz-track "Closer" is one i listened to most of the time :

The track is also posted online with another title, but i prefer the studio-version :

Very cool to see Sheila E. explore other music genres, I'm not a country music person, but glad to see that she won and I voted yay for 'Glorious Train'. Great energy, and a positive message, and yes I love me some Sheila too. Congrats Sheila!! thumbs up!
