i really love this interview.

Well at least it tells the story of how she was connected to Purple Rain and why she left. It was interesting watching this old footage.

i just love that she is just being Denise and Vanity honestly
listen to how she talks about Prince... what ever they went through it was real.
i love how she talks about how he asked her to take him to the restroom
it was beautiful ... "whats he want me to do hold it"
i also love how she refers to him as that boy.
he was just a kid lol.....
she made him a man.

it was such a very small part of who she is but it the part that has the light shing on it most.

look how hard it is to talk about him.. she is looking away into the memories. its hard for her to speak and the tears are welling up in her eyes.. change your name to dick.. lol beautiful... vanity scared her.

This is one of the best Vanity interviews I've ever seen. She provided a lot of insight to who Denise really was and her relationship with Prince. For once she was coherent instead of bopping around acting like she just smoked a key of coke.

She kept Laughing and she was DEFINITELY OFF and she seemed VERY SAD that she BROKE UP with PRINCE and I NEVER Knew it was about MONEY although I heard that was the reason why she left. Pretty stupid when the movie was for her and him. She just couldn't WAIT for him and she said she was a LEADER like Him. An eye-opening interview. Four thoughts:

1) when she is asked if Prince is in her Holy Trinity, she covers her mouth when she answers "yes" - classic body language sign (the hand is also used to conceal the mouth when it will betray emotions that may be undesirable.)

2) "Pardon the cold" my ass (obvious) - she's definitely coked up but somehow is in control.

3) She also has dead eyes in this interview - either dead or black, as in pupils dilated black.

4) The level of honesty in this interview is something I'd not expected from her - she actually showed something beyond the shallow image otherwise associated with her.
