I don't know...I'm a vorocious reader and have actually read some Christian books, and those two paragraphs seemed confusing.

I don't understand why she doesn't update her official website denisematthews.com with this book info or even a link. I'm just not sure about all of it.

Two years ago, she said she changed the name of the book to Black Box, now it's back to Blame it on Vanity.

Let me just say... @ be a Christian does mean you are perfect,I guess one gets this from so called Christians. If perfection was a qualification,,,sadly none of us would obtain the spirit....that is for sure. It is by "grace" we are saved children of God. And another thing just saying is just the start of a long journey of ridicule and trials.

Being saved is a "personal" experience.

Denise is a woman who has been to hell and back...and let me tell you the only way you can get back is walking with Jesus.

I don't know why people make religion so dam hard...and it pisses me off that when someone claims to be having a relationship with God and his son..people say the most stupiest stuff. If someone is doing better...does it matter? and if they say it was through God would it be better if they said, through my girlfreind or best friend? Maybe it would be more believable.

Imagine being trapped on a tour bus for months on end with a man who's supposed to be your boyfriend/faithful who's hooking up with other girls left and right IN FRONT OF YOU and then having to go out and smile & perform every night. And jeez... never mind the pain of the abandonment or abuse she went through growing up.

Denise cleaned herself up and has done well over the past decade.

For those that don't comprehend the enormous change that being saved has on an individual would take her as a nuts, but she's not nuts, she is a Child Of God and for those who think otherwise need to stop judging because one day we will all be judged by the Good Lord.
So let's get ourselves right, check and seek your own salvation with fear and trembling.....if you don't think Vanity now Denise Matthews is on the up and up then don't buy the book. If someone makes a comment challenging her Christian status well then that's not their place for them to do, that is God's. Let's stop playing God and humble ourselves, and be happy for this Sister in Christ. She is a new creature. Like VanityFair stated, Vanity now Denise Matthews derserves all of the respect in the world.Who has the right to be so critical, judgemental and the ruling authority of what is good, bad, normal, abnormal, conservative or whatever??
