STOP...just stop it!!!!!

Stop acting like Prince is a mindless lump of clay that can be easily manipulated and molded however Larry or anyone else wants.

Prince is a grown man with a strong will. Whatever he chooses to do, however he chooses to worship, however he chooses to do his music is his choice.

To blame Larry or anyone else is just plain wrong IMHO.

I even talked to Michael Bland and he says that Prince does what he wants, even if it is to his own detriment.

I thought that P set larry up with a house and all cuz Larry was prett much done for musically and Larry ws the one that got him in the Jw religion, not Mani. But P used to listen to him as a kidand what if u were in that situation would P influence you. I guess Larry came along when the divorce was going through, and all. I guess larry has a rel bad attitude tword women they are to seve and Homosexuals, and P at one time talked about loving and accepting everyone for who they were. I have not heard him mentioned a lot lately and can any tell me is p still in the Jw religion.

and I heard it was a culmination of exposure to JW, starting with George Benson who recorded at Paisley Park and Prince was hanging out with George and JW came up. Larry just added credence to JW. And all of it was most likely due to Prince looking for answers during a difficult time in his life, the death of his parents, and baby, and the death of his relationship with Warner Bros and embarking on a new chapter in his career.

Most of us in similar circumstances would re-examining our own belief systems.

Benson and Graham talking up JW was just the right place right time, (or wrong place wrong time depending on your opinion. biggrin

I cast a vote to kill this ignorant ass thread. No Larry = No Prince. He named his high school band Grand Central after Graham Central Station. Biggest Prince influence. Most people just assume it's Sly alone. Enough with the Larry hatred. It is old and time to retire it. Thank God for Larry Graham, for he may have saved Prince's life.

You know, as much as I liked the nasty Prince... I do find his lifestyle/personality more stable and grounded since Larry has entered the picture.

I mean the whole chain face mask, only speaking through Mayte, the magazine spread (Prince in drag)... it was all bizarre.

I may not like him not playing Erotic city, and I may get pissed when he threatens the Org and HQ, but he does seem to be in a better place mentally and spiritually.
