Last night, Nikka Costa performed with a band that consisted of herself, Ahmir "?uestlove" Thompson, Erykah Badu, Doyle Bramhall II and Wendy & Susannah Melvoin along with a few others.

This was a benefit show 4 Ansa (Artists 4 a New South Africa)

3 Nikka songs were done, then one by Doyle, and then 3 by Erykah, and then one more with Doyle. It was a lot of fun.

Our on the spot back stage reporter, Get Wild, was able 2 find out that Nikka is going 2 be playing a show at the Roxy somewhere between Christmas and New Years.

Much love 2 u and have a good weekend.-j7

At the Wiltern. I posted it a few weeks ago and no 1 responded.

All I knew was Nikka at that time, not Wendy n Susannah n Doyle.

It would be a safe bet if they have been rehearsing 2gether, that u may see them at that Roxy show in December. I looked at dates on the Roxy Calendar and Friday December 28th seems 2 be the only thing open at this time.

I believe u r right. Every time Badu tried 2 introduce the band's name, someone would keep yelling so I could not make it out. ;-/
