Released one album in 1987 called Tony LeMans

Sometime in 1992, he was killed in a traffic accident.

Recording sessions were made for the second album..... it remained unfinished.

my info may not be accurate but it's best to get the info from Tony LeMans Fans.

Actually, his one and only album was released in 1989.On Paisley Park Records.

In the early 90s,he began work on a second album.Prince offered him a song "Fuschia Light" but after the two of them got into an argument,Tony wasn't allowed to record at Paisley Park.He died in a motorcycle accident in 1992.

At the end of that performance, when asked by Downtown Julie Brown what was to come, Vanity mentions she was currently in the process of putting together an album. (From my understanding, it was rumored to be named "Wild Cherry"). Tony is listed as one of the producers she'd be in collaboration with on the album.

I wonder if there's any sessions from that uncompleted project. Even cooler is that she claims to have still been in contact with Prince

i think tony was related 2 billy preston as well
man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

His very Scrittipolittiesque album was wonderful & full of promises. i guess he wouldn't have had much of a carreer anyway because of the "Paisley Park curse", but i'd have loved 2 hear his 2nd album. I'm sorry he died so soon. Very ironical is the fact that his record shows him riding a motorbike sad

According to the DMSR book by Per Nilsen,Prince had tentative plans to use Tony in a movie he was planning in 1986.Titled 'The Dawn',it was a street musical about two bands trying to rival each other.Micki Free and Lenny Kravitz were also gonna be part of the cast.

Prince was planning to direct it,but not actually appear in it.

yep. They were to be called "The Coco Boys" because of their complexion. Mazarati were supposed to be the other band they were heading up against. The same plot that he used in G.B. against The Time which he rehashed from P.R.

Yeah, more so than not. The music would have had to been good. Mazarati was set if they used tracks from their debut. I don't know about Kravitz though. This is probably why he was rocking the Andre/Jesse look for awhile. Because of this film. And it probably explain his Romeo Blue name he was using. That easily could have been the name of his character in the film. It also explains how he came to being in the film in the first place since he and Tony were really in a band together in L.A. before Tony got signed and then Lenny split to New York when Lisa got bumped off of the Cosby show. Although the name of the band was not Romeo Blue as so Lenny has said. But if P was writing the script, he would have had to have done better than that shit he wrote for G.B.

"So she's too fine huh?"
"Man, she's THREE fine!"

Were they in Jr. High or what? DAMN!
