Is Jerome Benton no longer with the Time? If not, what happened? This goes to show you how out of the loop I am on this site. I've been reading certain things about Jerome Benton no longer a member of the Time and I would like to know what happened? Can someone fill me in? | |

[Edited 6/19/07 5:57am] Right now, Jerome is not performing with The Time. But the fellas and fans all miss him and once a Time member always a Time member. [Edited 6/19/07 5:57am] I think Jerome left The Time because supposedly The Family is reforming/reformed to record a new album and eventually do some touring and he reunited with them. Actually, Jerome performed his last time in January. His reason is not for me to post but rest assure he is doing GREAT and has a lot in the works. Including the recent reuniting with The Family. My friends went to the Taste of Minnesota on Tueday Night. Morris Day and the Time performed there. Jermone was up on stage doing his gig that night with the band.

I am not sure what is going on with The Family reunion at this moment. From what I've heard, work has been done, but it isn't a lock. It wouldn't shock me to find out that St. Paul was going to be on the road during the upcoming months... not doing Family shows, but other gigs.
