If Prince collaborated with 5 former associates, what 5 would you most like them to be?

Also, give a brief explanation of why you chose who you chose.

And no-Wendy and Lisa do not count as one vote! wink

Would be this band:

dr fink: keys
andre cymone: bass/vocals
lisa: keys/vocals
sheila e: drums/vocals
eric leeds: sax

Sorry, no wendy or dez or brownmark, but I had to chose 5.I think these 5 would make the most interesting band, both from musical and historical perspective.

I would like to see Prince collaborate with:

Vanity, ooops, I mean, Denise - since they are both on a spiritual journey, maybe they can come up with a funky gospel track together lol

Morris Day - I'd love to hear them do somethin' c.o.o.l together, somethin' fun and light-hearted

I was little tired when I wrote that.
Lisa does play guitar for real and she is good and but what I meant was keyboards for dr. fink. lol It would be nice to see Lisa play guitar but I guess that Prince probably want her to play some tickling ivories instead.

His old guitar tech from Purple Rain to the Nude tour. I miss the tone, man. As well as the old scales.

Susan Rogers.

Susannah (sorry, Doyle). Rightly or otherwise, I associate their deal with a certain period of creativity.

Miles Davis. (I think he pushed and inspired Prince in ways he might not be pushed or inspired today.

Andre Cymone. Same reason.

I took this to mean duets on an album or Prince writing/producing for them--not putting a band together. So with that in mind...

1 & 2 - Wendy & Lisa

3 - Sheila E

4 - Jill Jones

5 - Morris Day

I always wanted him to work with Jill Jones again, she seems like a cool chica and I still listen to G-spot
