Tamar has been dropped from Universal. The album's future is unknown, but it will certainly not be released this or any other week in the near future. | |

Wow, it seems like none of the people Prince takes under his wing ever really go anywhere. I think that his brilliance make them seem like they are more talented then they actually are. When the artist he promotes have to stand alone, they are exposed and it's pretty much a wrap.
I've never heard Tamar sing live but from the little clips I've seen of her performing and the few radio interviews she's done, there doesn't seem to be much charisma or star quality there. Maybe she'll prove me wrong.... | |
