PrintableTo me Robin clearly uses this fourm to vent and express herself, I asked Robin about her childhood because of what I read in the last thread. Robin has been through many trials & tribulations in her life, I find it empowering & inspirational that she has chosen to share such a personal part of herself with any of us. This should be an inspiration to us all, Robin has taught me a very inportant lession in life, that this little girl from Chicago could live through HELL! lose her MOTHER! who is now her ANGEL! and heal herself with the POWER OF GOD! Robin has a beautiful nature through all that she has been through and I am sure that we don't even know the half of it! She still carries love in her heart and she wants to SAVE THE CHILDREN of the world and build HEAVEN ON EARTH! This type of kindness should be REWARDED & ENCOURAGED! Has anyone else listened to anything that this ANGEL has been saying? Am I the only the only one who can see the PASSION in her heart! I don't see a woman who is depressed and hurting, I see a woman who is going through a tough time just like we all have at one time or another. I see a woman who has chosen GOD as her healer, maybe some of you who claim to care about her and have her best intrest at heart NEED TO RE-READ ROBIN'S WORDS and see that we are all unique creations of GOD! ROBIN YOU ARE ONE OF A KIND! So let's allow her to be who she is! SEXY, BEAUTIFUL, UNIQUE, DIFFERENT, SPECIAL, BLESSED and an ANGEL! Robin asked us for our support she asked us to BUY HER MUSIC! She did not ask for a hand out! Nor did she ask for a BUS TICKET to Minnesota! SHE IS A FIRST CLASS LADY or we would not be here trying to get to know the REAL HER!

That is what i did when I was facing hardship, I have my family and also local assistance to get some me help, and I am always grateful for them. Robin, all that is left to say is that I wish you the best with your music and career. That comes from one artist to another. It really doesn't make me feel good when I take the time to offer my thoughts and it gets translated into my "acting like I never been through a hard time" before. When you took what I wrote and when I mentioned that I do not believe in the Bible and that I am not christian, you posted a bible verse.
You think you're okay and that's fine and you want to have fun and that's cool. I've listened to lots of people and had them tell me about their hard times and their tragedies and I just read a lot of unresolved emotions in yours and it became more like a dramatization than a simple this is who I am and this is where I come from, and I wasn't the only one that saw it. I'm older, Robin, I've traveled a lot, I'ved studied a lot and I read a lot. I see a lot into people when I meet them. I've lived in the ghetto and I've lived among the very rich. I've had my periods where I had to eat Rahmen noodles, french fries and crackers and cheese too, and then where I've been so hungry where I've stolen money to eat. Where I had to drive my car to unknown neighborhoods and sleep in it because they were going to repossess it. I was younger then and now I understand how the Universe works - it's called Divine Order which is how when we align ourselves with it, and despite the direness of our situations, we still manage to come out on top and I'm glad that you realize that because it's an important lesson. Just as you feel you were put on this Earth to help people, I believe the same thing as many others here no doubt do. When I interact with people, it is often from that premise I interact. But I am not perfect and oftentimes there have been other angels who have come to my aid. So just remember that, help is there if you need it and being "proud and strong" is bullshit and it is an illusion where many of these so-called "proud and strong" only gets a woman dead from either a heart attack, stroke or crazy from a nervous breakdown. Proud and noble has it's time and place. One of the greatest lessons I had to learn was admitting that sometimes a sister just needs to evaluate herself and see the good and the bad and validate herself for the good and ask for some help with the bad - when she's out of control. I've listened to lots of people and had them tell me about their hard times and their tragedies and I just read a lot of unresolved emotions in yours and it became more like a dramatization than a simple this is who I am and this is where I come from, and I wasn't the only one that saw it. I'm older, Robin, I've traveled a lot, I'ved studied a lot and I read a lot. I see a lot into people when I meet them. I've lived in the ghetto and I've lived among the very rich. I've had my periods where I had to eat Rahmen noodles, french fries and crackers and cheese too, and then where I've been so hungry where I've stolen money to eat. Where I had to drive my car to unknown neighborhoods and sleep in it because they were going to repossess it. I was younger then and now I understand how the Universe works - it's called Divine Order which is how when we align ourselves with it, and despite the direness of our situations, we still manage to come out on top and I'm glad that you realize that because it's an important lesson. Just as you feel you were put on this Earth to help people, I believe the same thing as many others here no doubt do. When I interact with people, it is often from that premise I interact. But I am not perfect and oftentimes there have been other angels who have come to my aid. So just remember that, help is there if you need it and being "proud and strong" is bullshit and it is an illusion where many of these so-called "proud and strong" only gets a woman dead from either a heart attack, stroke or crazy from a nervous breakdown. Proud and noble has it's time and place. One of the greatest lessons I had to learn was admitting that sometimes a sister just needs to evaluate herself and see the good and the bad and validate herself for the good and ask for some help with the bad - when she's out of control.
