Like I said it takes two, and if Nona was having a relationship with him at the time and she ended up hurt as a result of Mayte getting pregnant and then Mayte getting married to him then

1. Nona should have known better than to go near another womans man to begin with
2. Contraception is the responsibility of both parties so Mayte's pregnancy couldn't be just "blamed" on her, unless she was on the pill and stopped taking it, which again leads back to.....
3. She couldn't have got pregnant at all and the relationship with Nona couldn't have got screwed up if P had actually called it a day with Mayte and been faithful to Nona in the first place! So how can Mayte possibly be blamed for screwing up his relationship with Nona?

Incidentally, I think this whole thing is a load of made-up nonsense anyway! This is the first time i've heard of a relationship with Nona let alone the pregnancy implication. I mean it's one thing to do the honorable thing and marry a girl cos she's having your child, but it's another thing altogether to also write 3 CD album with a whole heap of songs on there declaring how much you love Mayte, marriage, babies..... You just wouldn't bother going to all that trouble if you didn't care!

Regardless of how it turned out in the end I do beleive there was a time when they were truely in love and that is the reason they married and tried to start a family. The same as I believe he loved/loves Mani (I hope they haven't split).

Everything else aside, Prince and Nona were indeed an item for awhile Kitten, and Nona felt very upset and betrayed by him at the time, more I think for the way he cast her aside and casually announced his intention to marry Mayte.

I don't think Nona was manipulative, but at the same time, I think she wanted more than Prince was prepared to give. From what is known, this seems more a fault of Prince's communication skills than anything else. There was a very interesting interview with Nona a year or two back, I'll see if I can dig it out.

Please note I never said he didn't care about any of them. In his own way I'm sure he cared about all of them. However, the fact still remains that he was seeing all of them at the same time. Personally I think the pregnancy may have been a "whoops, uh oh", but then thats just me.

The baby was born in early Oct. I really don't think it was pre-mature either. That pre-mature stuff was based on the fib that she got pregnant on their wedding night.

The fact that both of them didn't do anything rash or get cracked out is really a testament of their inner strength. That Mani zeroed in on P during this fragile time in their marriage, really sucks.

I really am intrigued about this whole Pfieffer syndrome. I would imagine this is why she was having a difficult pg. I wonder if it is normal for a Pfieffer baby to actual go to due date... or if they tend to be born very early.

Sometimes I feel bad for adding my worth to some of the threads regarding Prince's relationships etc, cos I'm acutely aware that it ain't really none of my business. But on this occassion I feel I must for a diffefrent reason.

The baby stuff, I dunno, I just think it's a step too far. Everyone has an idea what happened, but I don't think the details need to be gone into in this way. We don't need to know this stuff, and it's such a senstive issue that would have hurt the couple deeply.

Hands up all those out there that think this should be given a rest?

But since it happened someone that people are acquainted with (P and Mayte) and not some anonymous textbook case, it does feel a little uncomfortable talking about the specifics.
