Recently I went to get some custom earplugs made--keeps musicians from going deaf--and the lady doing the impression pointed out the picture of Sheila E on the wall and how she had hooked her up with earplugs. I said I'm a big Prince fan, so that automatically means I'm also interested in Sheila.

She said her friend had just played keyboards with Prince, and she said some name (Rosario or something) which I didn't recognise, then said her stage name was RAD.

She said RAD had a kid at home, which was why she didn't tour for long, and that Prince pays his musicians well.

Prince seems to have many connections to Oakland (though Sheila lives in LA now)--Larry is another.
