Has anyone heard this?

Can't find any reviews online. Does anyone have any information on it whatsoever? Tracklists, what the overall style of the album is like etc - is it all instrumental?

I have this CD. I haven't listened to it years though. From what I remember it was not so outstanding pop-rock. Maybe I will give it another listen tonight and post a review tomorrow.

And yes, that is the same "River Run Dry" from The Family's album.

Yeah, it's pretty average; interesting though to hear the alternate version of "River Run Dry".

This site does a great job reviewing all Prince related albums. I own te Bobby Z album on CD. Paid $1 for it years ago and its worth every penny.

now that i see a pic of the cover, i can totally remember the bobby z. album now. i remember thinking the design looked a lot like sheila's "sex cymbal" album cover, only of course without the sepia-toned boobage.

I listened to the CD again today. Someone earlier compared it to Bryan Ferry and I think that's pretty accurate.

Bobby Z is a poor man's Bryan Ferry.

Same here,HAD this album on cassette, didn't listen to it much, so it was sold on Ebay.
