Prince to be covered at the Brits

"Natasha and Daniel Bedingfield are to cover a Prince song as their first duet at next month's Brit Awards, which are shaping up to be the best ever." The Sun writes.

(expect a dire cover)

Alisha Keys, Gwen Stefani and Missy Elliot did a cover of Kiss at last year's awards. I thought it was a dreadful cover, their voices just didn't mix well and Missy just sang her own rap.

I thought this would have been the perfect year for Prince to get a lifetime achievement award, kickstart a tour, and play Glastonbury! Missed opportunity, if you ask me.

So what Prince song do you think the Bedingfields will cover? I reckon Purple Rain. (shivers...)

He is an appaling waste of space. A British pop singer who's ugly and irritating.

She is his sister and I want to bone her, much to my disgust and annoyance.

Oh flippin' great! Here's an example, for the uninitiated, of Natasha's great lyrics:

Read some Byron, Shelley and Keates,
recited it over a hip-hop beat
I'm havin trouble sayin what i mean,
with dead poets and a drum machine

eek eek eek eek eek eek eek eek

And here are some of Princes

"Were all members of the animal Kingdom
Leave your brothers & sisters in the sea"

Besides I dont want her to write me little ditties
I just want to see her pretty titties horny

(that was one of mine by the way)

On the strength of those lyrics, I'd like to sign you up. Especially if you are related to Daniel Bedingfield in some way...
