Mr. Bland is the new drummer for Soul Asylum. They are going to start re-recording new songs with him at the recently vacated Flyte Tyme studios with engineer Steve Hodge. Then they plan to release the new album with a yet-to-be determined record label.

I talked to Michael earlier this week and he said it was a done deal, and the MPLS Star/Tribune reported it in Friday's paper also.
