Would it ruin the integrity of prince.org if there was a seperate discussion list for JUST MJ, Madonna and Janet? Just curious...since there are so many threads about these three and it's a given that there's a high ratio of prince fans who like to discuss these 3 maybe there should be?

No,I don't think we need a seperate forum for specific artists.But perhaps we DO need to chill on the amount of threads we start for these artists.A day or so ago,this forum was flooding with MJ threads. | |

I don't want to discuss any of the above on this site, so my answer would be yes, it would ruin this org. I don't see the need for a separate discussion list. There is nothing wrong with the odd thread, but if these fans want to discuss these people in great detail they should go elsewhere. | |

I would love for this to happen OR I would love for people to just use more discretion and limit themselves to posting on a few threads about these people instead of creating a new thread everytime one of them sneeze...
I used to come only to the Non-P music forum and the GD. The Non-P forum was a fun place for me to learn more about other artists I wasn't familiar with. That rarely happens now. Threads about less commercial artists tend to sink like rocks, so I rarely visit this forum now...The change in this forum has also been huge since the departure of Tron and Moonbeam. They were always good at creating threads about an array of artists instead of sticking constantly with MJ, JJ and M.. oh well, since I don't like it now, I will just limit my involvement until I notice things I do like. | |

it would be stupid if they made separate forums for janet, micheal, and madonna. i feel like that would defeat the point of this website. if people want to talk about those artists in forums that are created especially for them, then go to a fan site. it's not like these artists are unknown or anything. a perfectly suitable MJ, JJ or maddy forum is just a click away. if people don't want to do that, then they should just make do with the non-prince music forum. | |

Well said! I think it would be fun to actually have a Crap Music Forum. 
Then I'd know where to go to look for certain discussions, and I wouldn't have to wade through all the other threads just to find out that they turned into MJ, Madonna, what have you, threads. Of course it would never work because no one would agree on who would have to move over to that forum.
