Ok, I've been giving this issue a lot of thought.

Which Orgers do you believe are best-qualified to help moderate the site, now that ian's taking a break?

Don't base it upon whom you LIKE--that's not very realistic. Think about those Orgers who: are computer-savvy, are consistently reasonable, contribute good thoughts/ideas, do well when someone insults them, who don't have serious personal vendettas against people, who aren't overly religious or political, who have sensitivity but are also able to stand firm in their decisions (even when it's and unpopular decision) and who can read, write and sound halfway intelligent! I really hope that ben takes ian, Dansa and matt's opinions into consideration when he's choosing, since they are around the site more and know some folks' histories.

*Disclaimer: I think many of those I like a lot here could do a good job, but I'm taking some of your personalities/lifestyles into account (how much/little you're here, what you've got going on in your real lives, how hard it might be for some people to be assertive in decisionmaking, having a tough time with criticism, etc.)

To tell you the truth, I was hoping people would answer seriously and that ben would see this and consider people's replies when choosing someone. I am concerned that he might not know Orgers as well as he used to, because with his move to Spain and ian taking care of things, he wasn't spending as much time here as he used to. Maybe it's kinda silly of me?
