Concerning the forum Music:music -non prince this forum: MUSIC: Non-Prince. I was just wondering if we could split this forum into: Other Artists - Gossip and Other Artists - Music I check this forum to find out what people think of the new David Byrne album, the new Dylan, Beck, Ben Harper etc. and mostly what I see is threads titled: lady gaga is now fat!, Rihanna gets beaten up, again! Mediocre rapper is making money! I really don't want to know about this stuff. Gossip n music are two different things. Why not put them in two different forums? Reasonable request, or what? I like to tune into prince.org quite regularly, it's a top site. Still I think it would benefit from this change, the gossip threads are a nuisance to me but some like 'em. I'd be appreciative of a split. small circles, big wheels!

It'll never happen. There was talk of splitting the PM&M forum into music/drivel sections about 100 years ago too.....still not happend. There was talk of all the sites bugs and problems getting fixed around the same time.....still not happend.
My advice? Ignore the threads you think are going to be about something you're not interested in. It's the closest we will ever get to split forums.

^ Yes it would be a big improvement, right across the entire site, but it'll never happen. Add to that the idiots who would still post in the wrong sections.

I agree on the whole 'gossip' vs 'music' split
we do have to wade thru a lot of stuff that has nothing to do with the music/album/era etc | |

This wading through business is irritating, and tiring for me and plenty of others. Each to their own, I'm not being judgemental, some get off on gossip, that's okay too. Two completely separate things. Thanks for your understanding.  small circles, big wheels!
