Since Ben last fixed the site when it was down, that the statistics on the front page

don't work anymore...at least for me. I get this message every time I sign in:

ERROR in DB::fetchSingle() on
Error (MySQL server has gone away) on SELECT SQL_CACHE gvalue FROM globals WHERE gkey='max_online'

I copied, so not sure why the message turned out so small..but basically it saying that

'the server has gone away'.

I don't look at it often, but suddenly it's bugging me that it's not there anymore.

At least half of you 'hide' yourselves anyway, so it's not really relevant or true to form.
