'block' or 'ignore' button

sometimes i see arguments on here where someone is just bullying another person..it becomes less about the actual argument but about which one can be nastier to another

it would be nice if you could read a thread without some nastiness prevailing for about 4 or 5 pages of it

and sometimes there are people i simply do not wish to speak to because of thier stupidity

it'd be good if there could just be a block and you could continue talking to people on the thread in decency

To block someone, you can go into "Buddy Lists" and add that person's name to the "block user" list.

On HQ, if you blocked someone, none of their replies showed up when you read threads they had participated in. It was like they didn't exist.

That would be great to have here, too. nod

That's what I'm saying... HQ had it so that if you blocked someone, they didn't even show up to you in threads...

One time I was waiting for a comment by someone I had blocked (expecting a nasty reply), and she wasn't showing up. I unblocked her, and all the stuff she had written showed up in the thread.

I read her replies, commented, and reblocked her. giggle
