Princepedia (sneak preview)

I'll post more info in the blog soon, but in the meantime, try surfing around the "Princepedia"... it's a wiki like wikipedia, for Prince info. You (registered prince.org users, logged in) can edit it! Improve it! Let's make it awesome!

Yes, it might be REALLY slow right now. I'm working on it.

You can also link to topics from forum posts with "[ wiki]article name[/wiki]" (but no space in the first "wiki" tag).

For example... There's a short article (someone go expand it!) about Mayte Garcia, his first wife...

Prince.org is a cemetery where folks mourn Prince instead of celebrate him and his music. Last time I checked, Prince isn't dead yet.

My thoughts too, there is the potential for this to get filled up with all kinds of shit.

i think a few of us mods are going to contribute to it. i can think of one mod in particular who is very ANXIOUS to post information to the princepedia. smile

I was just in there and found it a bit confusing,
but then I didn't spend a lot of time....I don't
mean to sound negative, but doesn't some of the
content just repeat what's already out on the forums?

and I rely on Wickipedia a lot, but it's always
befuddled me to think that another person coming along
and changing content, makes that content any more right
than what's already there...although I know Wicki is
monitored....at least somewhat.

So my question too is "would someone be monitoring to
make certain the content is correct or not"?

I know....I'm always full of questions, and I have more,
but I'll just go with this....lol
