Recently it was mentioned that there would be a new statement about the progress of the legal situation facing PFU this Monday (meaning 25 Feb 08) and unless I completely missed it...which is really, really possible, I have not seen any type of update.

Call me a bitching fan....you wouldn't be the first...but considering the support those leading PFU asked for, can those of us that are still following the situation get a little update on some kind of regular basis?

Considering the last update to the PFU site was in Dec 07...even a monthly update would be fantastic.

Things move slowly in the legal system, and egos must be stroked with confidentiality issues, but throw out a damn bone would you please?

A simple "We are still in negotiations" is seriously lacking in details, but would suffice.

Make each update a sticky...hell, I'd go for a PFU Forum as a temporary feature...

"PFU Update- 28 Feb 08- Sorry still no new statements. We are still negotiating."

Tell me to let it go....you wouldn't be the first, but dammit...I miss the video forum and the gallery...they were my playground and, while I'm sure they won't be back...they were a lot of fun for me so I still care about how and where all of this is going.

Check out this thread at Housequake; particulary Turnitup's post on page 9.


I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for reinstatement of the video and photo gallery. Turnitup also points out negotiations between PFU and NPG Records have come to a 'dead end', which doesn't sound promising, to me. (Just my opinion, of course.)

That's where I'm coming from to. I support PFU and it's fight against the attack of the three sites, but prince.org is where it hit me the hardest. I don't understand going to HQ for updates as it is not just a HQ issue.
