It's a good place 2 verify Prince info (provided U know enough 2 start with that U can instantly spot when you're being f**ked with 4 the amusement of others). Also, there r people on this board that make me spit coffee on my monitor with laughter (even when I'm drinking anything). Plus, there's heart, humor and a real mean-spirited kind of charm from it's members.

Diverse discussion and uncontrolable laughter. That and the Prince related news and conjecture.

I like the snarky humour and the crazy ass threads/personalities. (Really!) But also how there are real discussions about music--instrument usages, album compilations, versions, etc. I also like how you can read all the posts just by scrolling, and that you can see a little preview of the first sentence before opening the thread. I know some people say the org is snobby and condescending to newbies, but I've never had any problems. Plus if someone is dumb enough to ask what Prince's real name is before looking at the FAQs, then they deserve any attitude they get, imho. smile

I will say my one criticism is that you can't discuss bootlegs. I notice on Housequake they have a whole section on them--even though you can't come out and say, "where can I get..." you can find out a lot more info.

BTW, I am totally diggin' the Newbie Friendly Search thing that BananaCologne has as a signature.

The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.
