These photos are really offensive. Not just posing smiling and laughing, but CLOWNING around at Prince's piano (the one Prince was just playing his last performances on early this year). WTF? Dude just died in that building barely 6 months ago.

Im sorry, but these are some tacky photos. No one should be touching or playing around with Prince's instruments for their stupid selfie shots. Have some respect please. Is this how the tour is being run? Who the hell allowed this crap to happen?!?!?

I suppose that is one way to look at it. However the reality of the situation was that everyone who was there was happy as all outdoors to be there and obviously have the utmost love and respect for Prince. I didnt see the point of taking a picture looking all somber when inside i wanted to dance. I'm a guitar player so when they said i could touch the Cloud U think I wasnt gonna? and when i touched the same keys on the piano that P touched the spirit of Little Richard took over hence the pose. Trip was excellent. Highly recommended. Peace and love to all!

nice guy.

I presume that's the Piano & A Microphone tour book? I really wish they were selling them via mail order - I'm in the UK and would love to get hold of a copy...

I looked through the book just a little bit. It has the date Oct 6 on it. Its basically a tribute book full of photos of Prince.

I so want some Prince swag..I hope they offer stuff on-line!

i think a photo with the instruments is cool, they are extensions of prince. smile something about the background seems like it could be made more 'warm' looking. when i 1st read about photo ops, i thought it might be with band members or something . later i pictured a mural of paisley park with paintings of various well-known prince associates, with those face holes for the tourist to stand behind and get their photo taken as 'prince' or one of his proteges, lol , so this is way more cool than my idea. it would be interesting some day to see p's plans for the museum. he did hand his guitar into the audience a lot. i might do a photo if it happens to be a goodlookin day 4 me smile

I'm a little surprised they allow people to touch anything. But maybe that's a way of keeping from being too stuffy. Still I don't think I would want to touch anything.

FB post from Elisa Fiorillo. How cool it would've been to be on that tour. Her daughter is so sweet.

https://www.facebook.com/...1511658493

So initially we had bought two tickets for Michael & Olivia to go to Paisley on the 12th. But then the city brought that day to a hault- so we had to switch it up and they had to go last night after they flew in from Las Vegas. While on the tour- Olivia remembered the NPG room where she told the group that she ate dinner at that table and danced in that very room. She also told them that she went up the staircase to the roof to watch the fireworks- the night she told Prince "UP HIGH-DOWN LOW- I LIKE YOUR AFRO!" The tour guide asked if anyone had any special stories to share- and Olivia raised her hand and told about the time that Prince played "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" on the guitar and she sang along. I'm so happy my daughter remembered everything she shared with Prince. Here was my husband Michael and daughter Olivia's picture by the purple piano. So cool that they got to see the studio I recorded "I Am" in with David Z, Levi Seacer and Prince.

Well it is kind of jolting to see somebody's foot on Prince's piano, I know my initial facial expression wasn't cute. But I took a breathe and focused

Well...so is stretching the truth (or lying, I guess) about taking the tour (reply #181) TXfan.

I was surprised to see the lack of traffic, got there early and had time to do some shopping (target) and eat lunch (axels). The town of Chanhassen is nice and pleasant, I can see why Prince chose to live there. I showed up to PP at exactly 4pm, My VIP ticket let me park there at PP.

How is it that your VIP pass allowed on site parking while all others have been bussed in? Were you just confused about where you parked? Care to clear that up now?

Pot meet kettle kinda thing.....

Prince's instruments should be treated with the utmost respect.

Really surprised they let people goof around like that.

I can imagine being there softly touching the piano would be a wonderful way to 'connect' with him.

Personally I wouldn't pose to have a picture taken there. It feels wrong, but that's just me.

Doubt though i will be able to go some day. It's a ten hour flight.

I think as they add more rooms, this will be a very cool experience. However, it is PP and visitors should be respectful as well.

It would be hard for to touch his instruments. Always heard rumors that he did not like his stuff touched.

Thanks to everyone for sharing your experiences and the information.

eek who does that guy think he is??? He is being very disrespectful to Princes things. People like him that have no respect and goofing off with items on display are going to ruin it for everyone....

On a happy note, I love the story Elisa Fiorillos daughter told. What a nice memory to have!

If people keep doing that the items will end up in a glassed display case or behind a barrier which would be a shame...

WTF does parking have to do with me calling these assholes trashy and disrespectful? I think the way they are treating Prince's valued belongings is like a joke or something. As far as me parking at PP, I traveled from TX and didn't bring my iPad where I get my email. I didn't see the new parking instructions until I got back hm. So, I was going by the original parking instructions printed on my ticket info. I just drove up to PP where I was stopped by a security officer and showed her my VIP ticket. I was then instructed to park in the parking lot adjacent to the building (Paisley Park). Others were parked there too. VIP was supposed to come with extra privileges, that's why I paid $100 for the ticket. It doesn't mean you can go in and disrespect the place. That guy is a jerk and his trashy gf went along with it.

I don't disagree. Hard to imagine the clown couple behaving that way and snapping that photo if Prince was alive and in the building, then posting their childish brag for all to see. But you forgot one more person - the official PP tour photographer who took that shot.

Absolutely, the photographer should have told the guy to take his foot off the piano keys and not touch the guitar. I think eventually these items are going to be behind glass or roped off, where you just get to stand next it for a pic. PP has just opened so they're being generous and they know people are still mourning. I can't imagine this would take place had Prince been standing there. Why disrespect ANYYONES things like that, nevermind a person who would never have allowed it had he been alive.

On Day 1 of Paisley Park tours some guy snuck a photo of himself proudly sitting in Studio A's control room - then posted the photo online.

Subsequent to that - there were reviews from people (who toured Paisley) saying the Studio control rooms had been closed and visitors weren't being allowed to go inside the control rooms.

Wouldn't be surprised, at all, to find out someone messed with stuff or tried to take something from the recording equipment.
