I have Oct 13 VIP ticket, but NO emails from PPark!

Like many of you, I bought my Paisley Park VIP ticket for October 13 to coincide with the tribute concert. I bought a roundtrip flight from Boston and 2 nights hotel. The last email I got from Paisley Park was about the disappointing City Counsel vote and to stay tuned.

I later read about the 3 day permits online, which included Oct 14 tour. I've gotten no email from PP about this. So I emailed them yesterday afternoon, kindly requesting to be placed in a Oct 14 tour (if that was my only option) before my flight departs that night for home. As of tonight I've received no reply.

I'm sure they're scrambling - but come on. So far they've taken my money and provided no word about reschudeling or refund.

Am I alone here?

I hope you are able to go on that day the Oct 14. I thought you can just go any of the three days I didnt know you have to be put on a list. I havent heard anyone else having issues of having a hard time with the upcoming tours.

here's contact information for the company that is managing Paisley Park, maybe contact them with questions about rescheduling:

I asked Prince what he was planning to do. He told me , I'm going to look for the ladder. I asked him what that meant. All he said was, sometimes it snows in April. - book D.M.S.R.

that's terrible, hang in there. maybe the management company is thinking they will be able to honor tickets after all? i heard a rumor that the City Council might grant approval as early as next week, but that was a rumor.

i am hoping these snafus won't reflect badly on Prince, his legacy, and the long-term viability of the museum project

There was a notice with a link and code telling people that there will be refunds. The code was to repurchase new tickets on one of the 3 selected dates. Oct 6, 8 or 14th. First come, First serve basis.

I too had VIP tickets for Oct 13th. I will receive a refund. I had to repurchase but all I could get were general admission which makes me so mad. The VIP tickets were sold out in a matter of 5 minutes. It also annoys me that only 5 people were in the 9 am VIP schedule. Anyway, I managed to snag 9:30 am GA tickets for Oct 14th. My flight departs 12:40pm, same day, so,I hope they are on time.

They also said there will be future dates.

They also said refunds will take 5 to 7 days, so check your bank or credit card statements.

Update: After getting no reply to my first email from PP, I emailed them again this morning and finally received a reply with a special link to rebook a tour. THANK GOD I was able to at least buy a GA tour on October 14 at 3:30pm, but the VIP tix were sold out. I feel very angry about how this was handled. The tour ends at 4:40pm and I will literally have to RACE to the airport during Friday rush hour to catch my 7:30pm flight home. I feel very sad that I won't be allowed to have a photo taken of myself inside Paisley Park as I originally would have since I bought a VIP ticket on the 13th. But I guess I have to accept reality, and adjust my mindset.
