Autism Rocks Tribute to Prince 24 & 25 June 2016 London

Dear Fellow Orgers

Some of you may recall Prince himself performed at our launch in 2014 as well as his last ever show in the UK in 2015. He had plans to perform for us again in 2016 including a dedicated night at his home Paisley Park. We are deeply shocked and saddened by his untimely death.

We are proud to let you know we are holding our own tribute to Prince on 24 and 25 June at the Apollo in Hammersmith, London. The evening will feature performances from Morris Day and The Time, CeeLo Green, Larry Graham with their own bands, plus a DJ set by Mark Ronson. We also requested The Revolution, 3rd Eye Girl and Sheila E to join us celebrate the life of Prince on these dates but they were sadly not available. We will try and host these great artists later this year.

Tickets are £35 for general admission. The venue will be formatted as standing downstairs (in front of

the stage) and seating upstairs (unallocated so first-come-first-served) on the balcony level. The venue holds 2,000 people standing and also 2,000 seated. Children under 15 are welcome to attend but must be accompanied by an adult. We expect the first band to be on at 8pm. The show will end at 11pm.

All proceeds will go to Autism Rocks which is a registered UK charity, which provides funding for research into the causes of autism, as well as increasing autism awareness in the public.

That's pretty awesome Sanjay. Thank you. Coming to celebrate on the Friday, opening night. Can't wait to party up with 3rd Eye Girl, Revolution and Sheila E in the future.
