Great night Dave! Lovely to meet Hayley (CynthiaR), and thanks to her for the heartfelt hug during Nothing Compares 2 U when I lost it. See, I'm not a man ;o) It sure was difficult at times, but I'm so glad I went, to share my love of Prince with other like minded fans, who were there to party and it wasn't a sombre affair at all, everybody was there to celebrate Prince and wow, what a legacy he has left us with. So if you're hesitating about going out to anything Prince related yet, do it, everybody I spoke to said it helped them, and remember, ain't no party like a Prince party.

Wow, what a night! Sad and fantastic all at the same time. Felt good to be with fans though, definitely helped. Love to everyone, and thank you to Oz, Angie, and Hayley for joining us , and to Rob and Lee for saying hi. [Edited 4/24/16 0:02am]

Great night! It was lovely to meet you and Angie too! Loved watching his Super Bowl performance again. I'd forgotten just how incredible that was! He killed it!

Great night Dave! Lovely to meet Hayley (Cynthia Rose), and thanks to her for the heartfelt hug during Nothing Compares 2 U when I lost it. See, I'm not a man really ;o) It sure was difficult at times, but I'm so glad I went, to share my love of Prince with other like minded fans, who were there to party and it wasn't a sombre affair at all, everybody was there to celebrate Prince and wow, what a legacy he has left us with. There really isnt a party like a Prince party, danced for over 2 hours non stop, legs will suffer tomorrow!

I still havent fully come to terms with it really, watching Purple Rain was good/sad, and when he sang Purple Rain I was very emotional, but when it moved straight into' I would die 4 U' and the people at the front jumped up and started dancing my mood changed, I danced and sang my heart out for the rest of the night, it helped me, specially being amongst other Prince fans.

Prince fans seem to be so carefree, great night, so glad I went.

Yeah, I lost it during 'Purple Rain' to...knew I would sad Sounds stupid, but it felt like he and I were saying goodbye to each other. Spooky when we found out later that his actual cremation was taking place almost the exact moment we were watching that!

Had to hit the dancefloor for I Would Die 4U and Baby I'm A Star, and so glad everyone else did to. Oz who was with us took some video of those songs, place was jumping!

Tribute to his legacy that there were people there of all ages, guys and gals, black and white. There wasn't a bad dancer amongst us either; Prince fans are a funky bunch biggrin And I forgot how good his songs sound in a nightclub. Need to get me some more of that in the coming months I think. Hope to see you all on the dancefloor again soon.

I was thinking ... and a lot of people I have spoken to have said they want to do something but are unable to make it at the moment. What about if we plan it - June 7th seems like an apt date to me. I know he never celebrated his birthday but seems fitting? All we need is a pub willing to let us play our music and reserved list. Doable I think?

There's actually a tribute night happening on the 4th June (see above) that I'm thinking of going to if anyone is up for it? Looks like its gonna be a late night one so might even stay up in London for it if I can find somewhere nearby that's reasonable
