30th anniversary of Purple Rain and 20th anniversary of LoveSexyDC! Join us in celebrating the 30th anniversary of Purple Rain and 20th anniversary of LoveSexyDC! We will be gathering to view Purple Rain on the BIG screen at the historic AFi Silver theater in downtown Silver Spring on at 9:45pm on Saturday, July 26. Buy your movie tickets at: http://www.afi.com/silver...aspx#purpl There will be a Costume Contest with prizes, so please dress to fit into one of the following categories: ~ Best Prince ~ Best Apollonia ~ Best Band Member (Revolution, Time, Modernnaire, Apollonia 6) ~ Best '80s Movie Extra The PRE-show gathering will be directly across the street from the AFi Silver at La Malinche from 7:00-9:00pm. They have delicious Sangria and Spanish tapas.
