I'm more about the people than the museums and sites. I'll likely go along with whatever, but I won't be champing at the bit to seek out culture. I'm most looking forward to hanging out in a nice city with some nice people. The main thing for me is that I hope to sit down quite a bit. I enjoy sitting down. Throw in an alcoholic beverage and that's when I really come alive, relatively speaking, which in overall terms means not that much. Should be fun.

Hopefully the weather will be good, so sitting on terraces is the best way to enjoy Amsterdam.

That was brilliant. I think of that everytime I see daddy-long-legses.

They were fucking everywhere. And daddys (no legs), just torsos shuffling towards your bed to lie in wait, though that may have been imagined. Do you remember how hard I tried to capture them intact and put them out the window, but it's like they wanted to lose their legs! There were just stray legs everywhere, stuck on the wall, fallen down on the beds. In my mind I was the Dalai Lama but in reality it was a bloodbath.

If you weren't there to get them out (with or without legs), I'd have had to just kill them all. You helped them survive!
