tickets/guestlist update:

as of now my guestlist reached the max, I won't be able to add anymore people on, I spoke to First Avenue today, tickets are selling fast.

If you are in Minneapolis or comming from out of town for the Prince shows and want to come to the Prince party at First Avenue july 6th, the safest way to get in is to get tickets online.

Just wanted to say thank you to all of you on this message board. My wife has been a loyal Prince fan her whole life and has made me a big fan over the last couple of years. I've been visiting this website at least once a week over the past year (every day for the past two months) trying to get details on a great way to surprise my wife with Prince tickets.

With the help of many of your insight, I was able to purchase flights to Minneapolis, the Macy's package, tickets to the First Avenue party on 7/6, a room at the downtown Marriott, and I also got third row seats at Target Center through the auction.

I bought some amazing purple high heels that she has always wanted and surprised her with everything this past week. Inside the shoe box, I had a recording for her to play from the "Diamonds & Pearls" Music Video DVD where the lady says "I don't like Sinatra, I like Prince, and I WANT TO GO TO MINNEAPOLIS!"

Anyhow, you guys have been awesome. Thanks for all the insight...I'll continue to visit the site every day hoping to hear some info on an after-party!
