Manchester Prince Party 2006 Review

First of all both Kat and myself would like to thank Ray and Mike for giving us the opportunity to organise a party in Manchester this year. We now understand what you go through. But the end result is well worth it!

We'd like to thank DJ Lefreak for all his hard work and I'm sure you'll all agree that he did an amazing job. DJ LeFreak is the funkiest DJ of them all!

Thank you to Madhouse. Hope you enjoyed the night.

It was so good to meet up with you all. Some regular faces, Cammille and Andy, Mellow and Daf, Col and John, Metalorange, Scotsman1999, Zaara, Susannah, and Blackbob. Not forgetting CarrieMpls who came all the way over from America to join in the party.

It was great to see so many new faces as well. Bal, Wendyrachel, Se7enkisses, FunkyBrotha, Alli, Nikki and loads more of you funky people.


A big shout out to the Scottish contingency who had an amazing turnout. Thank you. All of you!


JD, I know this was probably the last time we will see you in a while as you'll be well gone in October like you was last night. You've never let me down. A true friend. I hope you had fun and you will be missed. But if the next party is before you are due back I hope you can make a quick return?

It was such a pleasure hosting a fantastic event like this. Just knowing how much everyone enjoyed the night makes it worth while. We really do hope you had a great night.

Thank you SO VERY much for organising Saturday night... it was fantastic!!

Not only was the music spot on for dancing to, but all the people there were so friendly and welcoming. Zaara was such a scream - she kept the dance floor interactive and kept me feeling like I was part of the crowd as I was dancing off the dance floor (had to stay with the hubby for some of the night!), Wigan woman(can't remember your name!-sorry) you were great too...

It made me so glad I got a baby sitter and came out - definitely be there next year - but I WILL stay longer than 1am!

Saturday night was an absolute blast - me and seven7kisses were in Princey heaven all night Couldnt believe we were in a place that played nothing but Prince all night long!!

Anyhoos - thanks Savage and Kat for a great nite - why not give up your day jobs and do this full time - but only arranging Prince nites?? eh??

Feeling like all day yesterday was worth it - hangovers go away - memories stay forever!!

Well, as I said on the other thread I had an absolutely fantastic weekend! Thankyou so much to Savage and Kat, it's so much more difficult than most people realise to organise these things and you did such a great job! As long as you'll do it again next year I'll be verrrrry happy! The venue was great as well, couldnt have been better!

To everyone I spoke to on the night, Im glad we all turned out in such numbers - I have no idea who most of you were,it just struck me that maybe I didnt mingle as much as I should have! Sorry about your toes Spivhead!! Was great to see everyone again, especially the Scottish crowd although with some noticeable absentees we turned out in force and kicked most bums on the dance floor! Especially Andrew, who (surprise surprise) won best dancer! Well done man!

Savage, you're a genuinely fantastic guy, it was so good to spend time with you, party planning skills aside

The gorgeous Kat, who had the hot pants out again I hope you get on well in your new job darlin, let us know!

Jon it was ace to see you again, I'm going to keep investigating who all these other people are!

Carrie it was so nice to meet you, such a lovely woman! With a very fluffy kitty! And your hair kicks butt Enjoy the rest of your vacation

Right I've probably missed people out, but I'm not superwoman. Metalorange, Steadwood, AlliUK and anyone else I met Im glad I did!!

Well what can i say, but let me begin with thanking Savage and Kat for all their hard work, i had an absolutely brilliant time and yes my and wendyrachel was in prince heaven we couldn't believe we didn't have to nag the DJ to play prince!!! hehehe

I had a great time and i will remember it forever!! And i can't wait to get my pic's development and i will post them, but i will have to get some advise about it coz it will be my first time i've posted pic's!!!

Congratulations to Paul and Kat for putting on such an excellent and well organised party!!! We always knew you guys could do it...and you did it!!!
It's not an easy thing to do, but like you've said, in the end the result is well worth it and you both brought smiles to loads of people's faces. I was very impressed by the both of you and I hope you continue to put on more events like this.

DJ Le Freak... what can I say.. thanx for coming all the way from Belgium and making the night special... One of best Prince DJ's in the world
