Once again, we will take over MPLS in the third weekend of October (the 20th thru 22nd) for a crazy weekend of eating, drinking, shopping, dancing and mad bonding.

The Invasion is now just a few months away. Which means it's still a titch early to formulate the concrete plans, but it's time to start brainstorming. CarrieMpls and I will be working on plans and posting them as they are made. But you can help us!

-For returning Invaders, what things have been so outta-hand-fabulous that we MUST do them again?

-For first-timers, what things are you dying to do/see in Mpls?

Keep in mind that this is late October in Mpls. Which means it could be 65 and beautiful or it could be 35 and rainy. We'll try and plan for either situation.

THANK YOU to Ripher2shreds (currently on a brief org hiatus) who put together most of this listing of hotel info about a month ago. I did verify all links and whatnot this morning, so all of these options still have rooms. Prices and availability are subject to change. If you know you are coming, BOOK EARLY!

INVADERS PLEASE NOTE:
Unless you will be renting a car (or driving here) we HIGHLY recommend you choose from a listed hotel. These are all in the downtown vicinity and are VERY easily accessible by lightrail/bus/cab. MPLS public transport is not the best, so if you stay outside of Mpls, your journey to and from events could be painful. Please ask if you have questions about lodging!

There are additional hotels in downtown MPLS, but this is a good sampling...feel free to check orbitz and all that for better rates!
