Half way thru the first set, I'm thinking, man, I feel awful full, having not had anything to eat. Middle of the last song, I'm thinking, boy, it just got really hot in here, cuz I'm sweating up a storm.

Luckily, we call break after that, and I'm throne-bound for 25 minutes. Ebola, food poisoning, I dont know. It was bad. BAD.

So, second set, first song, 1 minute into it, and I'm thinking, HOLY MOTHER OF PONG, was that my colon that just ruptured? OH MY GOD I was dying. Had to walk off the stage and head STRAIGHT for the bathroom...

NOT ONCE, NOT TWICE, but THREE TIMES in that set.

But I'm a trooper, y'all. I did my thing and got back up there, but that third time, I stayed out. No need playing musical chairs all night... and from now on, I'll play a damn gig STARVING to death. Ain't gonna have this happen again. EVER.

Being up front on stage with a guitar is probably the worst place to be when that happens. What injustice!

I hope it was just the MUSIC that stank with funkiness that night, you know what I'm sayin'?

When I saw the title of this thread, I thought for some reason that the audience had food poisoning. Like that scene in Airplane (Is it Airplane?) when everyone pukes on each other. Or the scene in Stand By Me at the pie eating contest.

I dunno, I just had this vision of the audience puking all over each other and you guys trying to go on with the show.

I have had bad food poisioning too from a microwave Chicken Curry , I will never eat Curry or Rice again in my life !.

I was delirious and had a very high temperature. I couldn't eat for about 3-4 days afterwards.

I had to go to the bathroom most of the night and didn't even have the energy to walk upstairs so layed on the floor for about an hour and then managed to get upstairs only to go to the bathroom again!.
