OK, I couldn't resist to create this one when I saw that there were 999 threads! Let's celebrate this special moment by telling us what this forum has meant to you personally.

For me this is a very pleasant place where I can get some feedback on the stuff I create. I also like to be able to hear what other struggling musicians are up to. And it's a good place for getting some advice on technical problems.

And of course I've done two quite succesfull collaborations with Vina and Otan, I would never have been able to do these without this forum.

So thank you all for your inspiring music and personalities, I wish you all the best and I hope you all keep coming here and share some positivity!

But seriously, yo. This has been a great forum for funk musicians (and others too) to come get feedback on progress and to discuss methods of creating our babies, to discover tricks of the trade, to flesh out ideas - it's been fantastic.

AND! Just recently, I dicovered that I was white! no Shit! Thanks to the Musicians Forum! I'm going to go play some cricket now. Jolly ho!

For me, the org musician forum has proven to be the perfect antidote to what would otherwise be hours upon hours of wasted masturbation while surfing my favourite gardening websites.

erm, but seriously, for me it's a comfort to be able to share advice with other Prince fans, 'cause I kinda figure there is a high level of passion (and open mindedness...generally ) in everybody on here. Hey and you guys are cool as well!

For me personally, I'm learning a lot about what is possible, and listening to you guys stuff has enabled me to set targets of sorts. The criticism that some of you guys give is fantastic - actually when I think about it, it all seems pretty amazing, especially when I remember getting my first unix account 10 years ago next week, and using Mosaic to surf the 'www' that didn't even have pictures on most sites... I'm gettin' all choked up guys.

Oh yeah, the forum has also given me a fantastic opportunity to skive work, which I must get back to now!

This forum means so much to me. You guys are the only people I talk about my music with on a regular basis. I LOVE hearing new tracks and getting inspired by all of you. The feedback is great, especially the technical support.

If it wasn't for this forum, I wouldn't have such cool musical buddies. I've gone from counter-productive to productive because of some very special people here: JDODSON, manki, otan, funkaholic1972 and everyone else who has had nice things to say about my music. I know not everyone is going to like what I do, but it's important to focus on the positive, otherwise we will never take a chance to make something truly great.



So once again, I'd like to thank Ben for approving this forum a little over a year ago.


And you all can thank Geoffrey for bringing out the animal in me... I was listening to "My Groove" yesterday, editing the spoken parts and getting turned on.

Just kiddin, the musicians forum is a cool place. I rarely visit anywhere else on the org. The guidance and constructive critisisms Ive recieved here have helped me fine tune my mission & improve my sound. I dont think Ive ever been truely offeneded by any comments here either, all have something valid to contribute.
