New podcast: The Mountains and the Sea

For my wife's birthday this year, she asked that I start a Prince podcast with her! I'm a lifelong fan, and she married into fandom.

The first episode of The Mountains and the Sea podcast debuts Sunday, March 4 on popular platforms! Our format: We pick a Prince album and debate its high point (Mountains) and low point (the Sea) and everything inbetween. Since it's our show, we're picking albums in somewhat random order, starting with...

Lovesexy!

Reviewing albums…not exactly an original idea for a podcast. But, a pairing of a husband who has been a fan and collector for decades and a wife who is playing catchup and listening to albums all the way through for the first time…that's somethin' different.

We'll also devote an episode to each album to delve into ancillary material: b-sides, concerts, fashion, etc.

Really enjoy the podcast. It's interesting hearing the unique perspectives of Prince's work between the two of you, as husband and wife. Nice to hear a woman on these podcasts for a change. Keep up the good work!
