Dummers: You know you married the right one when...

She calls you up on your job and says she picked up the new John Blackwell DVD and is waiting for you when you get home!

About three weeks ago, my wife and I were at the mall and I went into what used to be "Mars Music" now "George's Music" and asked if they had the new DVD in yet. They said they would have it in about three weeks.

Since then, I've pretty much forgot all about it. Besides, since our child was born, I give her my entire paycheck to take care of what ever we need and have learned to be more "self-less" when it comes to things. Besides, I made sure I got all my toys I would need for a while before I got married.

The point is that I didn't ask for it and I didn't expect it. The fact that she took the time to put the baby in the car and drive how ever many miles to this store with the sole purpose of putting a smile on her husbands face just made me realize that I have the coolest wife I could have ever ask for and that she supports what her husband does and loves.

I sincerely wanted to share with the single musicians on this board how important it is when your ready to make that move to marriage to find someone who supports what you are passionate about (music/art not john blackwell) and they don't have to nessisarily be like you and do what you do, but stands by you.

And vice-versa.

I can honestly say that my wife really helps push me to succeed and is tottaly understanding when I have to work long hard hours, be away from home, and the late nights.

My wife ROCKS!
