Protest Song for the UK Election

I do feel guilty that over here we are a little preoccupied with the election, in light of what's been happening in Baltimore over the last few weeks - but I feel that this song is relevant to any oppressed peoples around the world. I don't intend to cause any offence, and hope you agree with the sentiment!

Aaaaaah that's right y'all!

WOW! VERY strong lyrics and a good song overall. Like the percussion break at minute 2:03, that's when the track really starts cooking for me!

.

Otherwise, I am deeply shocked about the results of these UK election. I am afraid your country will isolate itself even more now. Goodbye Europe! And all you poor continental refugees please stay away from this island, we feel sorry for you but you have to go somewhere else, except you bring enough money in like all these Russian criminals etc ... UGH!!!! Cameron sucks!!!

Hey, thanks again for the kind words! I think it's doubly relevant now... neutral

I'm deeply cynical these days as a result of the way the mood in the UK is going - take wha tyou just said and add living in London into the mix!

I hear a lot of people say "What are you talking about?! London is an amazing place to live!", but unfortunately all those people have the money to enjoy the benefits of living in a playground for the relatively well-off (in both a global and national sense), they just don't see the reality of the widening inequality.

As for me, I'm very tempted to move back to Scotland - we've always been pretty left-leaning, seems like this election they voted for progress.

We'll see...

"MARK THE PAPER, POST THE VOTE, AND YOUR STATEMENT HAS BEEN COUNTED, BUT THE GOVERNMENT IS STILL A JOKE" - How true that is and I bet that's one of so many reasons why people are tired of voting these days. We all know we cant go on like this, we vote for a change, but in the end, the "system" keeps our politicians under lock and key. As said, I believe Cameron is poison for your country & the European Community. Instead of opening up and working together, he tries to shut away the UK and believes this will heal all of your problems. How wrong he is! But ok, back to the music. Apart from these highly clever and well thought lyrics, I start to like the song more and more with each listen. Shame, that it is not on the radio wink, respectively gets more positive feedback in here. However, good luck to you and looking forward to hear more FUNK from you in the near future.
