Hand shape to Instruement?

Just wondering if anyone knows which type of hand shape is 'usually' considered best suited to what instrument. (Oviously the instrument you're most passionate about is always the best choice.)

Because I've a got a tall and 'lanky' build I always assumed I had long fingers. According to 'Finger Length Index' as per this website I've actually got short fingers. I scored 0.818 with individual scores of Palm Breadth = 93mm, Palm Length = 110mm, Finger Length = 83mm.

I had been interested in learning guitar but based on this I'm now thinking my hands are better suited to bass. I'm guessing when it comes to piano it's probably more about a certain style better suiting long or short fingers.

Any ideas\opinions?
