I'd probably go back to loving Prince if he flat out went back to all Linn. Human drummers just don't suit him.

These sound good, what did you use? What's the last one, SRP?

Thanks!

I use a sampler and software.

I will try another with a better sampler...It's difficult to replicate a moment form a master of it like Mr. Nelson.

It was easier to make an originla beat, than to re-make a moment. I feel more free when I don't try to remake his stuff.

I have "Automatic" style beat.."Another Lover.."

Plus..I assume that Prince, Sheila, and or Bobby Z used to play live cymbals and snares at times over a LM-1 beat..or in recording jams...

BTW: Roger Linn was supposed to release a new Linn in which a user could import the classic sounds.., but last I checked, it was delayed.

"SRP" - is just me playing around with "She's Rocks it like..." (By The Dream..a guy who seems to use some form of a LM-1, Linndrum, or samples...)

SRP = can stand for "She Rocks Paisley" or "Shoe Rocks Purple".

I won't upload real original stuff--unless its protected.

More will be soon, so I will have more uploaded over there in few weeks..
